Recovery was definitely not my favorite part, but the surgery was well worth it. Before surgery, she would wake up 2, sometimes 3 times a night. Now, 95% of the time, she sleeps all night long without waking up once!!
Surgery Day
Back in November of last year {yes, November 2010}, Joci had her tonsils and adenoids removed. The surgery took a little longer than expected because the doctor said her adenoids were so huge that they were up in her nasal cavities. Ugh, poor girl!! No wonder she didn't sleep well.
Recovery was definitely not my favorite part, but the surgery was well worth it. Before surgery, she would wake up 2, sometimes 3 times a night. Now, 95% of the time, she sleeps all night long without waking up once!!
