eight things

On this Thursday evening, I'm loving these eight things:

~ wildflowers blooming in the Nebraska national forest

~ extra time to meet up with friends for playdates and adult conversation during the summer

~ reading aloud {starting this one this weekend}

~ watching the garden grow and struggle this season

~ teasing each other about seeing an egg in the coop

~ the sound of the crickets outside the living room window

~slow, no-where-to-go mornings

~ this messy house and the people that occupy it; the place we call home
