Five Favorite Fabrics

Here are five different fabrics that I am loving right now.  If I didn't already have so much fabric, I would purchase these to add to my stash for safekeeping sewing.

1. Amy Butler Twilight Peony in Saffron

I love peony flowers!! So, peonies on fabric is even better. I'm not sure what I would make with this fabric; maybe an apron or a bag.

Andie Hanna - Fox and Houndstooth - Dapper Foxes in Grey

Foxes are all the rage right now. Normally, I wouldn't purchase something like this; it's a little out of the ordinary for me. This fabric is a little quirky and cute. I'd make a little zippered pouch with this fabric.

Riley Blake Designs - Dots - Swiss Dots in Yellow

Yellow dots! Yes please!! I'd use this fabric for quilting, front or back, or some binding on a quilt.

October Afternoon - Witch Hazel - Witch Spell in Black

I love Halloween fabric!! I have some Halloween fabric that I've been saving to make the kids some bags for trick-or-treating. I may have to purchase some of this to use for the inside of those bags.

Bee in My Bonnet - Gracie Girl - Clocks in Blue

This fabric is another one that I would not typically buy for my stash. It has a little vintage look to it, and I like that!! I would make another zippered bag or apron with this fabric.

I really need to get to sewing, so I can buy some new fabric!!

  1. Love the peony print! If I could sew, I would definitely make a clutch like the one pictured!

    1. Thank you BT {Blanca Therese} for visiting!! I have never attempted sewing a clutch using the metal closure. I love the look of them, but I'm too chicken I will mess it up. Some day I might attempt it.
