It wears me out each week just thinking about what we have to do.
I am so thankful we are limiting the kids' activities.
They are allowed to have one on-going activity, such as ballet, karate, etc.
and one other seasonal activity, such as soccer, basketball, softball.
I'm a homebody. I like being able to stay at home
not having to pack the kids up in the van
to go drop someone off here, pick someone up there.
So, one can only imagine how I'm not loving
the schedule this first part of the year.
We only have 2 kiddos in activities this year.
My wish is to expose them early, see what they like,
and hopefully, by the time they are older,
we won't have so many activities to go to.
A Mom can wish, can't she?

Monday
1:00 Drop B off at preschool
3:20 Pick B up from preschool
No evening activities!!
Tuesday
5:30-6:00 B has Karate
Wednesday
1:00 Drop B off at preschool
3:20 Pick B up from preschool
5:30-6:30 Joci has soccer practice
Thursday
4:45-5:30 Joci has ballet
5:30-6:00 B has Karate
6:30-7:30 B has soccer practice
Friday
1:00 Drop B off at preschool
3:20 Pick B up from preschool
No evening activities!!!
Saturday
9:00-11:00 Soccer games
***Joci has 20 minutes (sometimes longer) of homework each night.
Occassionally, Friday's will be a homework-free night.
***We travel 21 miles away to take B to Karate. Some might call it crazy, but he's enjoying it thus far, and it is giving him that much needed one-on-one time with Daddy on Thursday nights.
***One day of the week, we also travel 20 miles away for grocery shopping.
Typically, Saturday, but sometimes on Friday evenings if Joe gets off early.
***Soccer is seasonal, so in 6 weeks we will be done with that activity!!
They had their 1st game this morning, and neither one of them seemed to extremely enjoy it.
