Clipping Coupons & Freebies 2

Here is what I got this week.

Rayovac batteries = +$.03 ($.97 used a $1.00 coupon)

Puffs kleenexes = $0 ($1.00 used a $1.00 coupon)

Snuggle Fabric softener = $.87 ($1.87 used a $1.00 coupon)

Mandarin Oranges = $2.98 (used a Buy 1 get 1 free coupon)

Bath & Body Works lotion & shower gel = $0 (from a friend-she had left over from last Christmas & was tired of the scent)

Mr. Potato Head Spudbuds = $5.97 ($10.97 used a $5.00 coupon) I have 2 more coupons left to use--I'll save the toys for birthday gifts. If I lived near a K-Mart, I could have gotten them for a lot cheaper this week.

  1. Are you becoming a couponing nut? I have some friends here that are quite serious about it. One stockpiles and even does rebates. She was the speaker for MOPS one time on the subject. It does sound good but I think it's a ton of work. I know sites like grocery game make it easier.

  2. I wouldn't say that I'm going to be one of those fanatics because
    1. we don't have that many stores to shop from especially stores that double coupons, and
    2. I'm not going to cut coupons from 20 or more inserts, just 1 insert. I do use coupons on only the items we use-so if we use it, then I may stockpile it, if I have more than one coupon!!

  3. I have friends that even order their coupons on-line instead of doing multiple inserts. She still saves money by buying them, sounds strange but works. If you're ever interested let me know and I will look up the websites.
