There's laundry hanging down in the basement drying, sticky syrup on the table, a mound of dirty dishes in the sink, and crumbs on the living room rug.
School took far longer than what it should have taken.
Lots of messing around, goofing off, and not listening.
A day with too much yelling and not enough lovin'.
So thankful tomorrow's a new day.
His mercies are new every morning.
