Build-a-Bear

We went to Build-a-Bear this summer on our vacation to Denver. Joci loved it!!! Byron was hungry at the time, and decided he wasn't going to build a bear. However, after Joci was finished building hers and he finished eating, he wanted to build one.

The Big School

Joci's 1st day at "the big school" as she calls it. Her first day of Kindergarten was only a half day. She was excited to go, but when she got to school she was a little apprehensive. I'm guessing because there were so many children. 45 kids in the two Kindergarten classes this year! Wow!!!

Byron had to pose with her. I made this dress for her--she should be able to wear it all year long, unless she has a huge growth spurt.

Joci is back at school today until 2:00 pm, and then she is off for the rest of the week. We will find out on Friday afternoon who her teacher is for the year.

She was telling me that she is chilly. It was only 70 degrees that morning.

A Clown Magic Show

Last week, or was it the week before? I took the kids to a Clown Magic Show. Byron must have enjoyed it alot, because he still talks about the clown and his magic!!

After the magic show, "Big Red", the clown taught the older kids (ummm, Mom) how to make balloon animals and swords. We came home with smiling children, and 2 dogs and 3 swords, which lasted about a day!

Couldn't find my camera the past couple of days. I usually lay it on my soon-to-be filed pile of papers on my scrapbook desk. Joci had told me that Byron had the camera. When I asked Byron if he knew where it was, he ran downstairs and brought it right to me. When I looked at the pics, there were a few that were of nothing (floor, couch, tv---Byron's pics??) and then I had lots of cats posing in several pictures. I'm thinking that both the little squirts were playing with the camera, because I'm pretty sure Byron wouldn't take the time to set the cats all up for a picture.

Junie Nae

Junie Nae or Joci????

Joci has an imaginary friend. Her name is Junie Nae.

Junie Nae has brown hair, brown eyes, and looks just like Joci.

Junie Nae goes wherever Joci goes---most of the time.

Junie Nae likes to do things Joci does.

Of course, eating popcorn is one of those.

I’m wondering how long Junie Nae will be around.
