Today marks the day when we have officially been in our daughter’s life longer than we haven’t. She has now been a so loved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and cousin longer than she was an orphan.

– and I have seen signs of the scale tipping in our favor.

Are we done adopting? I don’t think so. I think when I’ve seen what I’ve seen over in China…. I’m not sure I can be comfortable ever confidently saying “we’re DONE adopting”.  But I do know that God has led us thus far and I have full faith that He will lead us in whatever else He may have in store for our family.

Often God keeps us blinded to the realities of the trials we will face in order to grow our faith. It is necessary.
